Worn out....

I guess that this is how all of us feel around here.  I found the Princess sound asleep today after she told me she 'wasn't tired'.  

Let the birthday week begin.......

My big girl is turning 11 on Thursday!  We started the week off by celebrating early!  She has become a beautiful person both inside and out.

August 23rd is fast approaching.  Lucky for me, I have a sweet mom who is a fantastic packer.  She helped me organized our suitcases and our thoughts~!  I have several lists around here.  I am making progress daily!  Only 3 more weeks!

Preparing to leave.....

In a few short weeks, we will be traveling to meet our precious daughter.  She will have many changes to cope with when we get her.  We ask for your prayers that her heart will be open to her new family.  Our little girl will leave all that is familiar.  This is a big order for anyone no less a 2 year old.  Thank you for keeping us in your prayers as we begin our journey!

New character in the house...

This new character has joined us as of late.  We are not sure where the fascination with pirates comes from.  She tells us that she is a princess pirate.  At least we have some sweetness with our pirate 'get-up'.  Thank you Popi for the outstanding pirate hat!
