The past........

Sometimes I can see the fear in my girl's eyes. It's a fear of being "left" and being alone. I love this blog post. It is a gentle reminder that our children's past does play a part in their "today".

A Day at the Cleft Clinic....
The Dumpling, Nana, and I spent the day at Cleft Clinic navigating the revolving door of doctors and therapists. Dumpling also had a video nasoendoscopy done to access her palate. She is such a trooper. She did not even shed a tear during the procedure. The results indicated the need for additional surgery.
As a reward for her outstanding tolerance of the procedure, Mommy let her have an early birthday present! An Ariel costume!
In other news, the littles are now sleeping in twin beds by themselves. This is a huge transition for them in terms of adjustment and attachment.
