First day of school........

One preschooler was SO excited about school this morning.

One middle schooler did not want his picture taken.  None the less, the mom won and the picture was taken.  I think they all look great!

I think that the Princess is getting anxious about our trip to China.  She said " so when are you finally going to get my sister".

Our girl turned 11........

Happy birthday to my favorite 11 year old!  You are growing up before our eyes.  We are so proud of the beautiful young girl you have become.  We love you!

I guess that this is how all of us feel around here.  I found the Princess sound asleep today after she told me she 'wasn't tired'.  

Let the birthday week begin.......

My big girl is turning 11 on Thursday!  We started the week off by celebrating early!  She has become a beautiful person both inside and out.

August 23rd is fast approaching.  Lucky for me, I have a sweet mom who is a fantastic packer.  She helped me organized our suitcases and our thoughts~!  I have several lists around here.  I am making progress daily!  Only 3 more weeks!

Preparing to leave.....

In a few short weeks, we will be traveling to meet our precious daughter.  She will have many changes to cope with when we get her.  We ask for your prayers that her heart will be open to her new family.  Our little girl will leave all that is familiar.  This is a big order for anyone no less a 2 year old.  Thank you for keeping us in your prayers as we begin our journey!
