Potty training boot camp continues:

We are in full swing around here.  We have had a few accidents, but we are proud to say that we are on our way to success.  Note that the potty has been dragged into the breakfast room and we often hear the words "hey guys look at me!".

 

Potty Training Boot Camp

Well the boot camp has begun.  We stayed dry yesterday but we were in the pool a good bit of the time.  We will begin day #2 today.  Wish us luck!

Lesson's learned

Since adopting,
this is what our big kids now know,

HOW TO:

Love deeper.

Think of others more.

Pray for orphans across the world.

Never let anyone refer to T as their adopted sister,

she is their sister (period).

Share the beauty of adoption.

Share that we were all orphans, adopted through Christ.

Appreciate that many children in the world need a family.

Be thankful that we have more than many around the world.

I would say that they have learned a lifetime's worth of lessons.

Thank you 'G' family for sharing little 'J' with us!  He is a doll and we love him.  T was especially thrilled to help with all baby duties!

The pool has been great fun this summer.  I haven't heard the dreaded phrase 'I'm bored' yet!  T loves the water and can't get enough swim time.  She is very independent with her floaties and a swim vest.  She can get in and out all by herself.  She is quick to remind me the 'I do it' .

Phrase of the week

We finally captured T's phrase of the week:  "Ho Ho's comin!"

Return from camp

Although we missed C terribly while she was at camp, she really had  a fantastic time.  T was really confused about her being gone.   We are glad to have her 'back'!!!
