More of the white stuff..........

We woke up to another big snow fall this morning.  There was at least 6 inches of powder everywhere.  It is breathtakingly beautiful!

Winter Wonderland is upon us.............

St Francis was really cold today!

Yes, this is Alabama and every once in awhile we get a big enough snow to 'play' outside.  The kids were excited this morning to see snow.   The Dumpling was really unsure about the snow, but decided it was pretty fun once she got to sled down the hill.  The Princess however loved sledding!

Season ending tournament.......

The Frog and her coach/Dad were thrilled to be in their season ending tournament at UAB this year.  It was exciting for the 6th grade girls to play in a big college arena.  The girls fought hard but unfortunately could not pull off a win.  We enjoyed watching them play their hearts out.

Some circus fun............

We had the opportunity to see the circus in our little southern town.  The girls were mesmerized by it.  Dumpling decided the 'Ariel ballet' or otherwise known as aerial ballet was something quite wonderful.

We wish everyone many blessings and good fortune in the New Year!  My girls were thrilled to celebrate with their school friends.  It seems like just yesterday that we were in China soaking up the sights, sounds, and people.  China is a country so rich in culture and tradition.  I hope that we can continue to learn and explore so that my girls have a sense of where they came from.

The princess really can walk on water with the help of her big brother.  This is the first year that we haven't covered our pool.  The kids were delighted to see that it was frozen over.  Let me tell you, it is no fun to do 'pool' chores in the cold.  Next year it will be covered.

We are all getting over various types of virus like symptoms around here.  A few of us are dreaming of warm weather, the beach, and shell 'getting'.
