Spelling

We do alot of spelling around here.  Last night Graham was discussing which candy he got at school and he spelled the word "CANDY" .  Tessa replied  candy---d---y.  I think that she is catching on to our little game!  So Funny!
He also mentioned that his friend had a 'claw money' fund.  We were confused and asked 'what's that?'.  He replied 'you know Mom, claws---those machines in front of stores like Walmart where you use claws to get a prize'.  One never knows!

The road to recovery!

Tessa is feeling much better today! Hooray!  Claire wanted me to experiment with my new camera today so the girls put on their matching shirts and we gave it a try.  There is definitely more features on my camera then I will ever need.  Hopefully, I can master just a few!  Have a good weekend!

The Flu

even in sickness one finds time to 'color'

Little Tessa has the flu even though she  got the flu shot this year.  She had a fever last night and just didn't seem right this morning so we went to the doctor.  Poor baby just isn't herself.
The big kids had a delay in school opening due to 'ice' on the roads.  I am ready for Spring.

Looks like we have finally conquered the stomach bug  and another unknown virus around here!  Hooray!  We are glad to be on the mend. 

 We had a scary ride home from the orthodontist on Thursday night.  What should have been a 10 minute ride took us 2 hours on roads covered in ice.  We were all glad to be home.
