Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! 中秋快乐! Zhōngqiū kuàilè!
The girls and I had fun making some Moon Festival cookies! They tasted delicious and looked pretty too.

We used these molds for our cookies- a cat, fish, and lotus flower.
This is the recipe we used.

Summer here then gone........
visits with cousins are always special |
We had a wonderful week in Destin at the beach. The weather was gorgeous and of course, the beach quite lovely.
Mom, Dad, the Princess, and the Dumpling went to summer camp and had a fantastic time. We made new friends and especially liked Arts and Crafts.
The littles went to sewing camp for a week and really liked making new creations.
We dropped the Vol off at Furman and shed a few tears. He will do wonderfully and we wish him the best but he will be surely missed. Luckily we have Facetime and text messages.
The Frog turned 16 in the bat of an eye! We are proud of the young lady that she has become.
And just like that, school started again.

WE have a 7 year old! And two beautiful ballerinas!
Dumpling wanted nothing but Build A Bear for her birthday so we made a day of it after our Cleft Clinic visit. I introduce you to our newest member "Cece" the dog.
The littles looked gorgeous at their annual ballet recital! So happy to share with family and friends.
“It will be very interesting one day to follow the pattern of our life as it is spread out like a beautiful tapestry. As long as we live here, we see only the reverse side of the weaving, and very often the pattern, with its threads running wildly, doesn’t seem to make sense. Someday, however, we shall understand. In looking back over the years, we can discover how a red thread goes through the pattern of our life: the Will of God.” – Maria August von Trapp
