Tinkerbell and Cinderella having fun at preschool.
For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him: 1Samuel 1:27

Moving in the right direction...
This is what our agency emailed us:
Your dossier has been sent to CCCWA
Oh my goodness, we are getting closer! All of the mounds of paperwork have been mailed to Ch*na!!! The next step is a LID ( or Log in Date) then a LOA (letter of acceptance) from Ch*na! We should be LID pretty soon but the LOA takes some time. It averages 50 to 60 days with a window of 30 - 70 days. Patience is a definite virtue during this process.
On the homefront, the Frog and I had some quality time together. It is hard to be the middle child. She relishes time with me alone which is hard to come by. We made great strides in organization byshoveling cleaning out her closet. She felt a great sense of accomplishment! We also had a little time to get a treat together.

Another sweet surprise.......
Look what came via email last night! We are all under a cloud of the 'crud' around here and feeling yucky. This was a beautiful 'pick me up'! Looks like the Dumpling is crawling now! I can't wait to hold our little one and kiss those sweet cheeks.

Measurements......
For all of the adoptive Moms who worry about the measurements they receive on their little ones, this picture is for you. I saw this on LWB site today. Measuring over a winter coat is accurate. Isn't it? He is adorable and looks well fed!

Priceless.......
"By adopting a child and helping them reach their potential,
they help us reach ours. An adopted child is not an unwanted
child; to the contrary. They are a child who was searched for,
prayed for, cried for, begged for; received by arms that ached,
making empty hearts full. Love is meant to be shared."

Random happenings......
First we would like to introduce our newest 'love'.... ta da.... mole rats rule! The Princess is in love with this book.
If you don't have any books written by Mo Willems, you should give them a read. They are all hilarious!
The Frog had three basketball games this Saturday and came in second in the tournament. Way to go fourth grade girls! Your coaching was outstanding too!
Just for fun. I love the 'food' left over from breakfast. Have a good week!

Trying something new
I read about this 'homemade' laundry detergent online and thought that I would give it a try. As you can imagine, laundry will eat you alive around this house. There is always a load in progress. Here are the 'ingredients' if you will:
1 box Borax
1 Box Washing Soda
1 box Baking Soda ( large box in laundry section)
1 3 lb oxy clean type stuff
4 bars of Fels Naptha grated ( I used a food processor )
1 canister of Downey Unstoppables (not necessary- I just like the way it makes my laundry smell and I had a coupon for $2 off)
The total cost was in the neighborhood of $21 and all of these should be available at your local 'walmart' ...gasp... I know..
In any event, you only need 2 tablespoons per load and if you have an HE machine just add it in with your clothes. It cleans wonderfully!
You can store it in any plastic container and it makes a bunch. Happy washing!
